A Length

Start the measurement at the top of the garment next to the collar (high point shoulder) and extend the measuring tape to the item's bottom.

B Width

Begin measuring at the seam just below the sleeve, stretch the tape across to the corresponding seam on the other side.

C Sleeve length

Position the tape at the top of the shoulder seam, and measure down to the sleeve's end.
